CHOKUSEN
Contactless Automatic Connection System for marine loading arm
An innovative technology enabling the automatic connection of marine loading arms without any mechanical link between FLNG units and LNG carriers. By combining high-accuracy visual sensing with adaptive real-time motion control, CHOKUSEN enhances safety, reduces workload, and increases operational flexibility for offshore LNG transfer operations.
Harmless ERS (Emergency Release System) for Offshore Ammonia Transfer
Developed to improve safety of maritime ammonia transfer, this ERS rapidly purges residual ammonia between isolation valves prior to emergency coupler disconnection. The result is negligible toxicity levels, reduced risk for operating crews and environment around the ammonia terminal, without compromising operational efficiency.
This safety ERS is designed for ammonia bunkering booms and offshore loading arms to contribute its de-risked operation and obtaining wide public acceptance of ammonia projects toward decarbonization.
Both technologies are applicable not only for offshore projects, but also onshore projects.
